#1 - Canva (link)
What Is It?
Here’s how the people at Canva describe their product:
Launched in 2013, Canva is an online design and visual communication platform with a mission to empower everyone in the world to design anything and publish anywhere.
Why Do I Need It?
Let me start with the obvious.
Canva allows you to create graphics for your presentation that will make it look like you hired someone to create graphics fo your presentation. 😂
It’s that simple.
I am 45 years old and value my time. Therefore, I will only learn a new skill if I know it’s going to save me time or make me money.
Canva does both.
I’ve built every keynote presentation that I’ve used over the past 5 years in Canva.
Plus, I designed most of the social media graphics that you see on Instagram and LinkedIn on Canva.
This one is a no-brainer and you won’t need the paid version.
#2 - Typeform (link)
What Is It?
The people at Typeform sat around a campfire and came up with this mission statement:
At Typeform, we help brands treat people like people with thoughtfully-designed tools that turn digital interactions into lasting personal connections.
Why Do I Need It?

First things first: I am a big fan of the Google Suite. It runs my business.
That being said, Typeform is head and shoulders above Google Forms.
Google Forms has gone through minimal zero meaningful updates since its inception.
Every time I receive a Google Form it feels like something someone in my PTA would create.1
Here’s what I like about Typeform: It allows for a wide range of personal branding customization.
Convincing people to give you their email or complete a survey from your talk is difficult enough.
Just a little design spark provides the nudge to get them to complete it.
#3 - Linktree (link)
What Is It?
Linktree is a tool to help you share everything you are, in one simple link – making your online content more discoverable, easier to manage and more likely to convert.
Why Do I Need It?
Linktree allows you to link to the key sites of your speaking business.
You could link to your website
Add a tab for your Shopify page
List your top speaking video
Moreover, you can create QR codes so viewers can go directly to your links.
