Why Is the Recommendations Section so Important?
This is where people, who are thinking of hiring you, go to see if other people who have hired, you liked you.
How Should I Leverage It?
Let’s break it down:
At the end of your talk, encourage people to follow you on LinkedIn
As soon as they send a connection request, accept it
Then send a short, personalized note asking for a recommendation
Here’s an example that I just sent before starting this newsletter:

If you consistently do this after every keynote (whether paid or unpaid), you’ll gradually amass an arsenal of social proof.
And social proof is what propels you to new stages. 👊🏾
